Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Beta Notice: Mnexium is currently in beta. This Privacy Policy reflects our current practices and may be updated as the product develops. We are committed to transparency and will provide notice of material changes where appropriate.

1. Introduction

Mnexium, Inc. ("Mnexium," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI memory infrastructure for developers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our API, dashboard, documentation, website, and related tools (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through our authentication provider. We may also collect your name, profile information, and account settings if you choose to provide them.

Billing Information

If you purchase a paid plan, billing and payment information is processed by our payment provider. We may receive and store related billing records such as your plan, subscription status, customer identifier, invoice information, usage totals, and billing event metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.

API Usage Data

When you use our API, we process and store:

  • Chat history and conversation logs (if you enable the log feature)
  • Extracted memories from conversations (if you enable the learn feature)
  • Subject identifiers, project identifiers, and other identifiers you provide to organize data
  • Profiles, records, claims, memory policies, system prompts, and integrations you create or manage
  • API keys, access tokens, request traces, activity logs, and API request metadata such as timestamps, endpoints, models, token counts, response times, and error information

Model Provider API Keys

Depending on the model or endpoint you use, you may provide API keys for model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Provider keys submitted with API requests are used to route the request to the selected provider and are not stored by Mnexium unless a specific product feature clearly asks you to save a credential. Some playground or documentation features may store keys in your browser's local storage so they can be reused locally in your browser; you can clear them from the browser or the relevant UI.

Website, Device, and Local Storage Data

We automatically collect certain technical information including IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, usage patterns, and diagnostic information to maintain, secure, and improve the Service. We also use essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, app preferences, active project selection, and similar functionality.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregate website and product usage. We do not currently use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels on our website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Service
  • Process your API requests and store data you explicitly choose to save
  • Generate embeddings for semantic search functionality
  • Communicate with you about your account and our Service
  • Manage billing, subscriptions, usage limits, and customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve performance, reliability, and product quality
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse

4. Data Storage and Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring appropriate to the nature of the Service. During our beta period, we are continuously improving our security practices as we prepare for production.

Data Isolation: Each project's data is isolated using project-specific identifiers. Your memories, chat history, prompts, records, profiles, and related project data are accessible through authenticated accounts and authorized API keys.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party services that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, communications, security, and infrastructure providers
  • Model Providers: With model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other providers when needed to process requests you initiate or features you enable
  • Customer-Configured Integrations: With external systems you connect to Mnexium, according to your configuration and instructions
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access and export your data through our dashboard and API
  • Delete individual memories, chat history, prompts, records, profiles, and other supported resources
  • Delete your entire account and associated data
  • Control what data is saved using API parameters (log, learn)
  • Manage browser-stored preferences and locally stored playground keys through your browser or the relevant UI

To exercise these rights or for any privacy-related questions, please use our contact form.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support billing or audit requirements. You can delete specific data through the dashboard or API where supported. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law.

8. Beta Considerations

As a beta service, please be aware that:

  • Features and data handling practices may change as we develop the product
  • We recommend not storing highly sensitive personal information unless your use case requires it and you have appropriate rights and safeguards
  • We will provide notice of significant changes to this policy
  • Your feedback helps us build better privacy practices for production

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
